moi Pam I'm 17 years old, and I wish I could stay this old forever. I live in an island called Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), right next to Puerto Rico and a little bellow Cuba. I'm a senior in High School, and soon I will be a freshman again, but in college. I'm too young for that still. |

Nightlife is the best, right? After playing around with the many buttons on my camera, I was asked to take a picture in which light "moves", or something like that. Kinda like making light the subject of the picture.
You know how those crowded city at night look so awesome in a picture? They give the impression of being the best city in the world, like in the movies.
Like New York, for instance. There are many, many pictures of the streets of New york at night, and they look absolutely amazing. And, all it takes to create such an artistic pictures is 5 or 6 seconds on your shutter speed, your tripod, and you're good to go!
I managed to take some shots:

And the this one, where you can kinda see my car:
The other set of pictures I have, is trying to freeze a car while moving. I wont post all of them, but one I particularly like. There are no bikes like this one in United States, but it's one of the major form of transportation in Dominican Republic:

And today, I have to take this photography exam kind of thing, and I have no idea of what to take a picture of in a place where there are only a few chairs, plants and a group of people drawing.

So, other updates:
There aren't many, really. Just school, and a few movies I've seen lately, which aren't the greatest.
We are just counting the days until graduation, but now that I come to think about it, future really, scares me. I have no idea of what exactly I want to do with the rest of my life, and mom wants me to start college in August, when I wanted to start in January.
I'm all for arts, but what? Photography? Design?
And on top of all, I'm moving back to United States in about three months. I'm leaving absolutely everything behind to go to college. The thing is, I'm not coming back and I have to start over again making friends, just when my friends and I were getting along so well. One of my friend's mom even told us we should move together, because we've been hanging out every single day of every single weekend since the beginning of Spring Break.
Oh well.
